### Position Overview

We are in search of a talented Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth initiatives and fortify our market presence. The role involves strategic planning, partnership development, and community engagement. This is a full-time position with the possibility of remote work.

### Location

* Remote (Global) or On-site (Location to be discussed)

### Responsibilities

* Identify and pursue business opportunities including partnerships, collaborations, and new market entries.
* Conduct market research to keep abreast of trends and competitors’ marketing movements.
* Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers, potential partners, and key stakeholders.
* Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to develop and implement effective business strategies.
* Prepare and present business proposals, financial projections, and various reports to the executive team.
* Assist in the organization and execution of events, webinars, and community engagement activities.
* Ensure effective communication across all channels including social media platforms, emails, and newsletters.
* Contribute to [Candy Chain Documentation](https://docs.candychain.com/) by providing insights into market demand, opportunities, and risks.

### Requirements

#### Essential

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the blockchain or tech industry.
* Proven track record of successful deals, partnerships, and strategic planning.
* Strong understanding of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market.
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team, in a fast-paced environment.
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

#### Desirable

* Pre-existing relationships in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
* Experience with multi-chain environments like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon.
* Comfortable using analytics tools and CRM software.
* Basic understanding of smart contracts and DeFi platforms.
